Code of conduct from 19th July
The Government’s change to the restrictions mean the club will fully reopen all facilities from the 19th July. In line with guidance from the government and the RYA we want to continue to take reasonable precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and we are aware that, for a variety of reasons, some members will remain particularly cautious. To ensure that everybody is able to enjoy the club safely and is able to control their own level of risk we are putting in place the following code of conduct:
- Respect the right of members to social distance at all times
- When signing on for a race please keep 2m from people not in your household or group and the race officials on duty
- Avoid using the changing rooms where you can and spend as little time in them as possible.
- Do not enter the changing rooms unless there is space to do so whilst keeping more than 2m from anybody already inside.
- All tables, both indoors and outdoors, will be placed 2m apart. If you rearrange them, please return them to this position afterwards.
- Do not sit or stand less than 2m from another member or group of members unless they have clearly indicated it is OK to do so.
- Please keep all areas of the club as clean as possible. For example ensure that any kitchen items used are cleaned and put away.
- Please use the hand sanitiser provided.
We will keep the situation under review and if there are any issues with these arrangements, please let one of us know.
