The Clubhouse
DSC is very fortunate to a have a modern Club House with spacious changing rooms & showers and a small kitchenette, as well as a clubroom overlooking the lake. For winter, under-floor heating is provided by a lake-sourced heat pump. Whether on the enclosed patio or in the clubhouse it is a very comfortable place to sit, eat lunch and drink coffee and tea.
Boat Park
DSC has a large secure Boat Park for berthing dinghies and a large boat shed in which members may store their sails. Members are able to store their boats in an allocated space upon payment of the appropriate fees. The Boat Park has direct access via two gates to the beach and slipways for safe and easy launching. The Lake
We are very fortunate at DSC to have a mature 16 hectare Lagoon – with its own islands, plenty of space for picnics, and an abundance of wildlife. Dorchester Lagoon is an ecosystem in its own right which we hope to protect and enjoy long into the future.
Lakeside Grounds
DSC has extensive grounds which can be used by members for walking, picnics and camping. There is an impressive range of wildlife and a good selection of blackberry bushes!
